Help her mother… then everything changed in an instant

I thought I was just doing a simple good deed—helping a mother clean up her overgrown yard so she wouldn’t get fined or struggle on her own. What started as a small act of kindness quickly turned into something I never expected. One moment I was pulling weeds and mowing grass, and the next… everything changed in an instant.

She just came running out. Yeah, I saw she looked all upset. Yeah. Welcome back to Outdoors with Eric. This was crazy. We were cutting this overgrown bamboo right along this fence line to help out this 70 or 80 year old lady and her daughter stopped by to thank us for all the work that we were doing and we quickly looked over 5 minutes later and she was running out of the house. Well, her daughter had been in a very bad car accident. That’s the last call that any parent wants to get and I hope and pray that she is recovering from any injuries that she may have sustained. As my buddy Mark and I finished up this lawn, it became evident that this bamboo was very itchy. But this least that we had to worry about. All that was on our mind was the safety of this lady’s daughter and her well-being. While we were here, we also checked out the porch, and the porch definitely needs a makeover before it collapses.
