I've tried asking the people I bought the plants from, I've tried searching online, but nothing has described what is going on. I bought these two plants in the spring, the first one is a C. uter and the second is a C. juttae. Both plants grew large happy leaves, then a few weeks later the leaves all started dying from the tips moving towards the stems.
The C. juttae started outdoors but when the leaves started dying I moved it into my grow tent with the C. uter. Both are in ~80% pumice, 20% organic media and were watered every week. Both plants are still very firm but dormant. Temps in the tent are ~82°F and they get strong light for 12 hours each day. How do I wake them up?

It may be helpful to mention where you are in the world and also if the plants were purchased in your region or imported.
I would ask pro growers like Anthony at Botanic Wonders or Insane Succulents
It may be early, but if they naturally went into dormancy and there’s no sign of tip rot from where the leaves/petioles attached to the caudex, they may be asleep for the winter. Only a few weeks of active vegetative growth is odd, but I found with mine the first year re-establishing after shipment or acclimation isn’t the best growing season for them.

For reference, this is how the leaves looked. That dead-line progressed up the leaf towards the petiole. Once it got close enough, the leaf fell off. This doesn’t seem to be how the leaves are supposed to behave when the plant wants to drop them.
