I’ve always called it bush daisy. Apparently it is:
“Euryops pectinatus”
We had this in drought affected areas and it keeps flowering like nothing is happening.

I think they are Mexican marigold.
Mexican marigold is a specific plant (Tagetes lemmonii), whereas “bush daisy” is a general description for a type of plant that can be a Mexican marigold or other species.
Does the foliage have a scent? If the foliage has a strong, refreshing scent often described as passionfruit, mint, or camphor, its Mexican marigold 😊
