Found this Alocasia nebula at Lowe’s, I thought the older leaf looked like it might have some variegation but thought I was delusional until the newest leaf came in. are the lighter spots variegation or could it be something else?

The new leaf seems to have sport variegation!

  2. I meannn it looks like sport variegation to me personally. Give that baby lots of light, nutrients and water and you’ll know foresure! I have a Yucatán princess that had a TINY bit of sport variegation when I got it, since then I have gotten significantly more variegation and her babies are variegated too. The stability is touch and go, sometimes I get normal leaves, sometimes I get super cool ones and the plant is on the recovery road right now but here’s a pictures of the absolute best leaf I’ve gotten from her (most others only have little clusters of variegation this one was a complete surprise) Needless to say, I see potential in that new plant of yours and I’m excited for you!
