it almost died once, all flowers wilted and fell off which i figured was normal, all things have a life cycle. budded and bloomed on the same sprout again after that, then it sprouted another and that flowered too, and these two just keep on producing more and more flowers! the new blooms are now hanging so low that they’re on the windowsill! how do i keep this going? i water once per week about a third of a cup, that’s all!

i’ll add that i think it only had 2 blooms when i first bought it and now it has 29 across the two stems. can anyone give me more information on the type of orchid and any tips to keep it healthy and growing?

How do you make the growth happen? Mine is almost 2 years old and still the same size.

Ya I picked up a nice orchid from trader joe’s myself. I should check the place out more often.

Wow! Beautiful! Whatever you’re doing it like it! Always grown inside? Year round? What direction does the window face?

We’ve bought from Trader Joe’s and never had success like this. You’re doing something right.

Do you fertilize this at all? Or just a third of a cup of tap water? Thanks!
