I would agree that a lot of their primary hybrids are pretty awesome. Lots of drama, easy to grow, and bloom fairly often.

B. nodosa is one of my favorites, although it is absent from my collection. IF it has one drawback as a parent, it’s that a lot of its offspring tend to look similar. I remember in an orchid book on hybridizing it had a very bland-looking nodosa hybrid which had the caution of being selective with parents. The flower was a pale dull green, dull spots all over it, plus bad shape. I kinda felt sorry for it.
I recently found out about Brassanthe Maikai ‘Spotted Star’ which has all the color, but does not fade as the flower ages. Needless to say, it is on my list.
