Welcome back to our backyard transformation where we just took our very, very ugly backyard and turned it into a European inspired oasis that we now love. When looking at inspo, I noticed I am in love with the look of greenery growing on walls or trelluses. So, I wanted to make that happen in some way. We have this very large empty wall on the right of our patio, and I thought it would be perfect for some trelluses and star jasmine growing on them. So, I bought four of these trelluses. They were pretty easy to assemble. It just took a little muscle. I wanted to make sure they were wall-mounted and not just standing on the ground. So, that was key in my search for trelluses. It was a little tricky making sure they were all the same height, but I think we did okay. Then we just put the star jasmine in these long planters and intertwined them here on the trelluses. It’s my first time doing this, so please don’t judge or learn from my methods. And here is how they turned out. I love them so much and can’t wait for them to grow. Also, this is my new view from my living room, which I’m obsessed with. Our furniture is coming super soon, which will finally complete this

  1. European? Italy or Ireland? Swedish or Portugal?

Europe is not a homogenous state but a miriade of geographical, historical and cultural influences that are very different and not in any way blended.

  2. Would love a tutorial on how you attached the trellis to your vinyl siding as I want to do this on my garage too! Looks great
