Worst case scenario is you wasted the tiniest bit of water and mildly upped the humidity in your home, so why not? I also water plants that look dead. Sometimes theyre very dead, sometimes theyre only mostly dead.

I watered an empty pot just to not waste the water in my pail. Months later it had a small bud. Now it has a leaf. I don’t know what plant it is. 😅
