This is my 6th year growing tomatoes and I think I've got the hang of them now 😅

I've got 10 plants (plus volunteer weedy cherries): Better Boy, Old German, Giant Yellow Belgian, Great White, and Mortgage Lifter. I grow Better Boy every year as it is a reliable producer with incredible flavor. One of the Better Boys has extra maroon fruit so idk what's up with that but it's delicious. I really like how the Old German looks like a persimmon, it's SO orange. Fruity and firm. Giant Yellow Belgian has been solid. Great White has been very wimpy, a spindly vine with small fruit and the most BER of the lot. The Mortgage Lifters have grown like crazy and are pumping out one pounders, though they're not the richest in flavor.

I trellis mine by just tying them to poles, though they're mostly flopped over now lol. I store them via a skin > roast > puree > freeze method so we have a sauce or soup base ready to go all winter.
