Whats this on my spring onion?


They’ve started to grow these bulb like heads. Google isnt very helpful as the pictures dont look the same. Im very novice. Thank you 🙂

    Flowers. Mine started to send those up as well – I snipped them off and cooked with it.

    It’s gone to seed! If you leave it alone, it’ll open up like a flower revealing tons of black seeds.

    Collect them and save them for next time!

    I would suggest putting a bag over the seed head once it starts to form to collect the seeds. A fine mesh bag is ideal to allow airflow.
