Hi everyone! I am a first time fiddle leaf parent & am really struggling. I got my tree in November and she did amazing with very minimal shedding for months. As soon as the weather got warmer, I had to start using my window AC unit. Without realizing it, I was blasting my tree with cold dry air which of course she reacted poorly to and started shedding tons. I moved the tree to the other side of my apartment away from the draft and closer to my window for more light a couple months ago. She has 2 brand new branches at the bottom and has new growth in 3 different places at the top of the tree, but is shedding a bunch still. At first my research was telling me that bc the leaves had dry crispy edges I was under watering so I started to water more frequently. This did not help the shedding and ended up in light fungal growth at the top of the soil. I don’t know what to do now as it’s odd that the tree is growing in 5 new places but still shedding quite frequently. Please help ❤️

I had similar issues with mine. I know it sucks to see the leaves drop but your plant will be just fine. You can remove the leaves that have browned bc they won’t recover and the tree can focus its energy towards the new growth.
