Sun goddess is my favorite grafting stock. Thick, spikey to deter pests, pups basal pups like mad, and pumps growth hard. Also low key one of my favorite stand alone cacti as well.

My Lowe’s has big ass grandi in 6″ pots for $10, pups everywhere. I bought all I could carry and going back tomorrow. Still have yet to find sum goddess anywhere around me

am i in the club? Home Depot $40 for the bigun, and $28 at walmart for the “smaller”. Both came from the same commercial nursery, and said “hybrid”, so I think cacto hybrido.

9 pups in all! is cool, i got roots on most of them by cutting carefully. but how long to they take to grow out to become grafting stock size?

Also the label said only cold hardy down to 35F, so this winter might be a gamble.

I have a big CSD to graft on one, still deciding what to graft on the other.
