Central Texas, Austin area. Sat down in my rocky driveway to retie my shoes and now I have weird red lumps on my leg!! And it stings so bad!! Lived in this area my whole life and never had this reaction to a plant before.
What is this????

I’d like to know too someone ping me
Desert noseburn – Tragia ramosa.
Looks like the irritant is caused by small [calcium oxalate raphides](https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC8705345/#:~:text=The%20etymology%20for%20the%20name,%2C%20taken%20in%20Nevada%2C%20USA) and may last for over an hour.
If the plant ends up being harmless it could have been a bug or something on the plant. There’s some caterpillars if you brush up against them it’s not fun
This is a [Kanchō plant](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kanch%C5%8D), it is a close relative of the Kalanchoe plant from the crassula family except it secrets an irritant when sat on.
