Everyone has been asking me if I sealed these hand painted mosaic steps that I spent the last two weeks painstakingly painting. And the answer is yes, of course I did. I used this lacquer that the paint specialist at Home Depot recommended after I described my project. It’s meant for outdoor floor use. And while I still can’t guarantee that this won’t chip over time, re-sealing it regularly will definitely help. And before you ask, yes, of course, I did multiple coats. So far so good. It’s hard to scratch and let’s hope it stays that way.

I'm waiting for the green!
Wow ❤
Beautiful! Great job!
I honestly don’t understand why people feel the need to presume! 😂 When I saw how painstakingly you painted those tiles, I knew you had sealed your work!❤❤❤
Beautiful! Truly! You definitely earned enjoying and stepping on it every day!
U should buy something else or another different type of deal which is waterproof, sun proof,…
I’m waiting to see the stones come out! I want to see those mosaics to be surrounded by grass!💜
This is honestly so fucking incredible
I’ve done this and all my rocks have chipped
Insane.
What a beautiful job❤❤ it's so nice
Love your steps!
If this becomes slippery when wet, you can get a clear anti-slip spray at the home depot as well. It's by Rustoleum and it works well!
Imagine you didn’t lmfao
Very beautiful it already looks amazing too bad you didn't take out the rocks first before you painted
I would be scared to walk on those. 😂😂😂😂.
You did well
Looks lovely! The border around the beet in a deep blue would looks so nice as a contrast!
Fantastic!
Looks like real mosaic!
😮А что так можно было?
Where did you get the sections to make the circles
Where did you purchase the stencil?
Not everyone
It still looks so pretty. 🙂
They look amazing!!! If I ever get a garden, I will be sure to remember this trick because I love mosaics so much
Did YoU SeAL IT??!!!…….
Nah the poor girl spent days curled over like a damn shrimp and painstakingly painting three damn mosaics….THAT ARE PERFECT. Spends two weeks recovering from the hand cramps and posture, then she leaves it to wash away within a few months without sealing it 😂
Isn't it slippery? Especially when wet I'd think
Omg you got actual advice from a Home Depot employee!?!? I thought that was a thing of the past.
Looks slippery though
Maybe add some treads around the green for friction
I like it but, my momma has to restain her deck every 2 years or so. Not even paint, stain. I wish you all the best with it lasting, but I'm nervous for you
Is it slippery?
❤️
