My paph is like this too and I always resolve not to check it every day and without fail every time I do that it blooms fully the next day I swear 🀣

Mine did last for about 4 months then. Its not in a rush.

You’ve got a while too. πŸ˜‚ They last a long time, it makes the wait worth it.

Mine just started pushing out the next node. I’m just excited it’s not dead.

Paphs are the slowest of the slow. Best to ignore them and just take care of their needs as plants while not paying too much attention to their progress. Then one day you will look over and think β€œgee when did THAT happen.”

Almost there πŸ‘ some Oncidiums ate painfully slow too. That’s one reason I don’t love to grow them plus they’re also picky about watering. My Sharry Baby has had. 2 foot spike for over 2 months and is just starting to show some bud activity. Phals can be annoying too when the tip buds turn yellow and fall off.

I had one similar, and spent two months wringing my hands hoping it would be open for our club show in march. It opened the day after the show was over.

I feel you. Me to my non-multiflorals: “You literally have only one flower to grow right now, so what’s the hold up?” πŸ˜‚
