I picked these up from Lowes. The globe had a tag that said to mist them once a week, but I did not want to get water stains on the glass, so I was planning to take them out to mist or soak them (I read that they like to be soaked in water for 20-30 minutes a week. Correct me if that's wrong!)

But I can't remove them! They seem to be glued and I'm afraid that I'll damage them if I try to pull them out. What should I do?

Also, if you can identify these plants, I would be grateful for the info.

Thank you!

Those fake flowers are awful. I haven’t personally had to remove plants that were glued, but I would search the sub for advice because this question has been asked a lot. I would find a new home for them once you get them out. Airplants appreciate good airflow, which they won’t get in that bowl.

Those flowers aren’t real, I’ve never seen Tillandsia with flowers like those

These were designed to be disposable unfortunately. What a waste. I guess with the state of things today nothing should really surprise me anymore. Return them if you can’t remove them. They will 100% rot in those containers, especially if you mist them. The entire plant needs air flow, even the base.

It’s hot glue. Rubbing alcohol will release it.
