I am in South Florida, Miami, looking for a plant that adapts to the climate here and that I can use on my tree to make it look like the one in the photo. I took the photo right here, but I can't find the name

Are you referring to the hanging Spanish Moss?
If so, Spanish moss is a parasite that grows on trees, mostly oak trees in deep coastal southern united states. It grows by itself. Its not something that you pick up from Lowes and grow or transplant. Another little tidbit, do NOT collect this and bring it home. It is often full of chiggers and they will bite.
Look at it. Take pictures. Leave it alone.

The heavy green ivy on the tree look like…. Ivy. Or Kudzu.

    Pleopeltis polypodioides. Resurrection fern.

Resurrection fern. It unfurls when it rains.

Love this look too. Immediately knew it was Florida. Reminds me of “old Florida” 🙂
