I've just rescued (or so I thought) this poor thing from my mother a month or so ago who had it in a window that got barely any light. I've since put it in LECA with a properly diluted nutrient after gently removing it from the actual clay it was in. It has steadily been dropping leaves from the bottom ever since.

It appears to be growing new ones but I'm not sure if they are actually new or if I'm just coping.

Any advice or insight would be much appreciated!

Photos start at today and go back to just after rescue.

I don’t have experience with lrca but some general advice.. have you actually removed the old leaves when repotting or have they yellowed after you transferred? In any case of start off there – the yellow leaves can go, they’ll never go back to green and they don’t serve your plant much purpose. The pot looks a bit too big (you should aim to be at 1/3 of the crown diameter)
