threw this snake plant in a vase with some LECA years ago because it had no roots. now it has a baby and it's even flowering. meanwhile the plants I pamper look so sad 🙃

  1. A snake plant that flowers is basically giving it’s last attempt to spread. It can’t do it anymore via roots because there isn’t any space left. So a flowering snake plant is a stressed one. Enjoy the flowers, but I would repot it soon.

    They like hydro! I have a few too. I kill them in dirt but water they love. Well done! Watch for babies too

    The flower usually happened when the plant is under watered. Not saying that is your situation but that is how I make mine bloom. I forget to water it. It throws up the flower of death as I jokingly call it then I go oh crap and give it water.
