You can even use the v look of the chalky white stuff that grows on it. It’s worked for me when I get a mid with no defined “seagulls”.

It correct. I can see a v-shape line between the ribs indicating where the plant started its seasonal growth. The seasonal growth “V” is pointing in the right direction with the point of the V pointing toward the ground.
