Tie it to a long thin dowel. I purchased one the same height and it had a dowel holding the whole thing up. It works great and you don’t really see it.

Prune it half way down and don’t stake it. You’ll have to let it grow itself again. It’ll sprout new tighter leaves.

I find that they are quite Bendy. Just get a steak and then you can kind of bend it back the way you want it on. It may have a little curve in it but that’s OK. I would only prune any leaves that are dead. Otherwise keep it the way it is.
