Grandpa picked him up for me on the ground at Home Depot, just curious if it’s a lost cause

Let it heal for a couple of days. Then bury half in light soil, without many nutrients. Don’t water too much, just a light watering once a week. Wait.

Just put the corner into light soil for cactus. The leaf must stand up. Little very little water, bright spot. I made it but you must to be patient. Good luck

Stick in gritty soil. Bake at 247°F in your sunniest window for 1 month. Water occasionally, when skewer comes out clean.

Just stick it in a bright indirect spot with the small part in cactus soil and give it time to grow roots.
