I’m always picking plants from the trash. Rescued 3 orchids in this exact situation a month ago! They are blooming again now 🌱💚

If you want to keep it in a vase without medium, I suggest 1 day of soaking and 6 days of keeping it dry, but there are many methods, look up water culture.

you seem to have other very healthy looking plants so i am sure you will have great luck with this one surviving and blooming. just one tip though – grow for roots. the leaves and blooms will come if you have roots.

Lucky you! It looks very beautiful! However, I’ve heard that water culture for phals is riskier than replanting in a conventional orchid pot. But whatever you decide, I hope you’ll share your progress with us. I’d love to see how it goes!
