Hahaha yea . Eat it. They’re sorta tropical tasting but a bit …gritty? With some big seeds. Not the worst fruit. Check em to see if soft

I’ve tried them. They’re extremely delicious but not worth eating because of all the annoying seeds.

The first pic looks like a magnolia, so, no. Second and third are Cornus kousa, and yes, the fruits are edible.

The first photo looks like a magnolia., but the red fruits are indeed kousa dogwood.

Louisa dogwood , They make a decent jelly . Ok to pick them off the ground unless they look nasty

That first image is a completely different plant. It might not be poisonous but don’t go eat anything from it.

Not knowing what something is but really wanting wanting to eat it is a really funny concept to me

Don’t eat the skin. It is really bitter.

The first pic looks like a magnolia. Are the other 2 the same tree? Very different leaves

Magnolia (first picture) you can eat the flowers, they’re ginger tasting to me.

Second and third picture is kousa dogwood

Dogwood Berries. Edible. Please don’t eat the leaves.

Dogwood berries can kill a dog, so don’t leave it out.

I have this type of dogwood (2nd & 3rd Pic) in my yard. The first picture is not the same plant as the other two pictures (different leaf structure).

The look to me like tiny cherimoya, but that appears to be a different order.

  15. It looks like Kousa dogwood fruit, and if so it’s edible! They’re one of my favorite fruits. They taste like a creamy peach / apple

I used to work at a garden center and once had an elderly chinese woman come through tasting the fruit on the kousa dogwoods.

She said there were recipes that use them and was trying to find the tree with the sweetest ones.

The dogwood fruit we call dog berries because our old lab use to grab them off the sidewalks for a snack.
