    Have the exact same. I steam the juice out for jelly dont mash or will get very tart. 🤤

  3. They are American persimmons. They taste alright but they are a little astringent especially if they are unripe.

    Wow this unlocked a memory. Had one of these that was slightly out of bounds from my primary school. We used to get over there when a teacher wasn’t looking during recess and lunch and for some reason my friends and I never had any food at school, we would take a handful of these, always checked both sides to see if we got there first before a bird or such did! Can’t believe it was just there and no one ever picked the plums

    Likely Mexican Plum tree if you’re anywhere in the Central United States.

    It’s a larger (15-25ft) native plum tree.
