What’s all this now?


My cactus sprouted this weird little thing recently. I’m no stranger to cactus flowers, but this thing looks more like a root than any flower I’ve seen. Can somebody shed some light?

    Definitely looks like a root

    How often is it being watered.

    Could be that it’s trying to get more water.

    Alternatively, it could just be one of those weird things that cacti do from time to time, for no reason whatsoever.
