UTICA, N.Y. — The Fifth Annual District V Flower Show is set to bloom at the Utica Public Library.
Sponsored by District V of the Federated Garden Clubs of New York State, the event will be open to the public on Friday, Sept. 5 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday, Sept. 6 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The show will feature displays of floral design and horticulture, with local Garden Club members available to answer gardening and design questions.
District V, with its 15 clubs and nearly 400 members, is dedicated to promoting gardening and eco-friendly practices.
The group’s intention is to inspire the community through workshops and events for all ages.
