Alright everyone, for better or worse American medows got me into the idea of a no mow lawn. I am slowly converting parts of my turf grass to no mow medows as I can convince my partner. I am admittedly now not just scattering seed from this company. However that is how I started and I now I have thing popping up in my back yard. I have no idea, and AI also does not seem to know. Anyone have any ideas?

epilobium. it is very opportunistic of open soil and can be ok in the context of Summer fill. it’s very shallow rooted and not a concern generally if it’s one of the native ones in a native seeding, but there are a couple nonnative ones too.

I think American Meadows isn’t the best source for seeds for you. They have a reputation for selling nonnative and invasive stuff. Try to find a reputable local source
