The text on my post didn’t save… At first I thought the little holes were burns because I had a few days where I forgot to close the blinds (west window)… but they are so cleanly round, and I found one on a leaf that was somewhat protected, so now I’m wondering if it is some kind of pest.

It could be the water droplets on the leaves. AV leaves don’t like water on them. I’d use a paper towel to soak up the droplets.
Not sure about the pest though, someone with more experience and insight could probably answer that.
