Hello I’m in Georgia I bought a home and need help with treating my backyard that is basically all weed it seems and maybe some grass. it’s hard to tell and wanted help so I can treat this with pre emergent but need to know what could kill this off. Please help if u have this!

There is absolutely zero grass there. You should burn the whole thing down.
Someone call me out if I’m wrong, but I’m seeing no grass in these photos. Seems to be a yard of weeds.

That’s not a lawn. That’s dirt and weeds man.
Nuke it.
Aerate the shit out of it.
Bring in some fresh compost.
Buy some twin city seed and water it 2-3 times a day for a month
Look for Sublime. You may need to go to an actual herbicide distributor like someone that gets stuff for landscape companies. Spray it all. Watch it die. Plant 6 weeks later following my above comment

It’s stiltgrass. It’s invasive from Asia.
There is no lawn
For what it’s worth… it looks nice and full… probably little maintenance required!

Glyphosate is your best friend.
Just from the stiltgrass I’m thinking that yard is pretty shady. If that’s the case then think about what you’ll replace it with before you kill it.
Not all grass will work there, depending on how shady it is.

What’s your goal here? You have a decent looking ground cover.. do you wanna make the entire thing grass or just sections of it? Figure out exactly what you wanna do before you spend a penny.
