I split my oncidium about 5 months ago and messed it up by cutting it wrong. This poor baby was the outlier that had zero roots and that I was seconds away from throwing away but someone in this sub convinced me to stick it in a pot and see what happens. When I was watering it today, I NOTICED IT’S GROWING A LITTLE NUB on the side. Is it a new pseudobulb growing?!? Or, is this a false alarm? If it’s growing something lovely that will revive it, this will be the greatest surprise of my life. I can’t believe I almost threw it away! Please tell me what you think is happening, thank you!

Oncidiums, from what I’ve read and seen on its orchid care, is that they are vigorous in growth once they’re acclimated to their grow media and environment. Congrats on the new pseudobulb!
