I have been watching this carrot for some time, you know, guys. And it look like say I can’t get this one carrot, right? So, I’m going to try and dry it up right now and see what’s happening cuz I don’t want the pest to get to it before I do. I’ve been watering this thing for a while. So, it’s only good and right that me get to eat it. All right. So, let us see. My god, it’s so tough, guys. It is so tough. Oh, look at that. I wonder if I should water it first. OMG. I’m going to water it first, guys. In time. Let’s take a look at my basil that I got from Everrow. So, there were tiny little things, you know, and I put them right next to the tomatoes. Tomatoes not looking so bad. But my god, man. I don’t know why the leaf man I think them don’t leave the tomato plant alone. And there’s a bug right down there. See it there? Come off. Come off, man. See him there, guys? Yeah. I I don’t know what’s happening with these leaf miners. I spray with soap water and they’re still taking over my tomato plant. Ah, it’s a struggle. But we continue. We continue. I’m looking forward to some tomato, you know. So, I’m thinking maybe I should remove these leaves, but if I remove so much of the leaves, I think I’ll weaken the plant. So, at the moment, I don’t even know what to do, what how to solve this. I’m going to just continue spraying it with some soap water and see if the leaf miners will leave the plant alone. Look at it, guys. Oh my god, this this this farming thing is so stressful sometimes, right? But we still have to just keep trying. The basil is not looking bad though. It’s not looking bad. And see, I have one more tomato over here. This one is smaller. And I have some more basil there. But as you can see, guys, the pest them eat up one of them. The pest them eat up one of my basil. Not. No, it’s not one. It’s more than one. It’s about three they eat up. Look at these two. I think I’m going to move. And it look like it’s two different type of you know this one look. You see how this one look guys? It’s completely green while this one have this kind of purple tinting or purple veins. So it’s two different tile. I think I’m going to move move some of them out of this pot because I don’t think all of them will grow in it anyway. The thing is I ran out of pot so I just put all of them in this pot and I put right beside the tom this other tomato too. This one have leaf miner too. I don’t know. Give me some tips in the comments guys. I don’t know how how you get rid of leaf miners cuz I’ve been trying some concoctions and I’m still seeing them. So, let me know how you deal with the leaf miners and if I leave it like this, if they’ll damage the plant, let me know. So, guys, I went for the water. I’m going to throw it in there to kind of soften up the dirt. Then, I can just take out the carrot. I’m going to leave it a little so the water can just penetrate the soil and then I can come and try to get out my carrot. [Music] Okay, guys. So, I’m back at it again. Can you see the carrot? Can you see, guys? So, I’m going to just pull it up. Fingers crossed. Oh my god. Ah. Hey, hey, hey. Look at that, guys. Not all that small, you know. Look, it better than nothing, you know. It’s better than nothing. Look, my first ever carrot. My proud proud my proud so tail because guess what? Never have to get no carrot and it don’t look bad. No look bad at all. Don’t look bad at all guys. Say no do with this now guys. I’m going to wash it off and I’m going to eat it. All right. It’s small but it’s still a carrot. He still can put in something. And I think they said the tops can be eaten. So, I’m going to just research that pretty quickly. And if they can be eaten, I’m going to eat them, too. Because guess what? It’s my hard work, dedication, getting up early and watering every day, fertilizing, and you know, investing time, energy, thought, prayer. Yes, I do pray as well. So, I’m going to be proud and be positive and know that there will be a time when I’ll get bigger carrots and even more carrots. So, yeah. So, after I wash it off, this is how it looks, guys. It’s not big, but it’s a start. I mean, it can cut up and mix up with some vegetable and be eaten. So, yep, it’s something because I could have been expecting carrots and then get nothing. So, it’s something. It is something. My first carrot harvest. [Music]

  1. You need better soil and bigger pots. Try using oil jugs as I told u b4. Try making your own compost. Best of luck crissy.

  2. I feel your pain on the leaf miners. I usually get them on my spinach and kale in my climate, but this year I used insect netting to keep them away. A physical barrier is really the best way to prevent them. Once your tomato plants are established and much larger, the damage won’t matter as much. You can also use something like tulle if you can’t get insect covering. Hope that helps!😊
