This landscape edging was the quickest and easiest edging I have ever used in my life!

It was a true joy to work with and I would recommend it.

what is arguably the single most dreadful part of landscaping edging. Well, not with this edging. This is a powdercoated galvanized steel edging from Garden Air. It’s very flexible and I think it’s going to be super easy and fun to install. I have two straight runs and one curve to install. But let’s start right here with this first straight run. So, I drive a few stars and pull a string. With this string being tight, this going to give me a guide to go by to keep my edging as straight as possible. A rubber mallet is all you need to gently tap this edging in place. Each piece is held together by one of these small teeth. You just simply align the two holes and drive it down. I’ve got to make my first bend now. So, let’s see how it does. With my seam being right here in the bin, that did make it a little bit difficult, but still, I think it turned out pretty good. This stuff just goes down so quick and easy. Just look at that smooth transition in the curve. You can’t do that with just any edging. And just check out how well it bent to match my sad little flower bed. Well, I just put down 80 ft of this in about 45 minutes. This edging comes in several different heights and is also available in brown. Each kit comes with 20 ft of edging and to even throw in a pair of gloves. That was so simple to put down and now gives me a perfect barrier between my grass and mulch. So, if you’re looking for some simple, easy, and quick to install edging, be sure to give this a try. 1. So glad I found your channel, you have shown so much information to me and now my extended family as well, simple things that have made so many things Simple and a lot less back breaking., God Bless

  2. As much as i hate edging, if i HAD to, i guess this would be better than the railroad ties I've used in the past.
With it being in the ground, im wondering how well that holds up, galvanized or not.

  3. I’ve used a similar edging, without all the teeth, but held into the ground with those stakes that also join it together & the problem I had with those, even if I tapped them into the ground an inch or so was the creeper grass is growing underneath them

  4. I have a problem with “cattle grass” that shoot runner roots in all directions. What weed/grass barrier fabric do u recommend? Btw Great channel, very informative!

  5. Tell your little ones to be careful around that edging, it looks like it could be fatal to fall on it! 🤷

  6. I love your posts, seriously. I used to live on a lot of property and wish I had found you then. Now I’m in a residential neighborhood, but I still save your posts just in case I build another home with property. My grandmother used to jar and I loved it, but never learned it. Now I know thanks to YOU!
    Thank!!!

  7. Awww man, when you first bust that thing out and flexed it, i thought it was a tool, like a blade for an even bigger reciprocating saw you would break out that would edge like a ditch witch…

  8. Im pretty sure your pool has been recalled lol any pool with that tension strap at the bottom of it has been recalled because it gives children a ledge to stand on to get into the pool even with the ladder out.

  9. Nah. I can only imagine falling across that on my shin, butt, arm, or one of my kids faceplanting. It needs a top on the edge of some kind. Great idea however.

  10. I found this easier to install with a 3 pound hammer, and hitting a small 2×4 which I placed over the barrier. I just banged on the 1ft long 2×4. Was able to set them quick and not bend it at all

  11. Works great until a little one falls on it and gashes there leg foot arm neck . It does look good though!

  12. If it wasn't so expensive, i would say hell yea, but as a landscaper i cant justify that big of a price difference.

  13. I’m so clumsy I’d end up stepping on it or falling into it. I keep sharp stuff to a minimum around my farm (except knives & implements etc). It looks nice tho.
