I repotted my aroids (Monstera adansonii and Thai Constellation, some types of philodendrons) into Westland Orchid Mix with Seramis. That was the chunkiest stuff I had available to buy from nearby shops. All have moss poles
For the Thai Constellation, I mixed in some small perlite throughout the soil.
For the others, I sprinkled small perlite on top and mixed it in lightly.
All my pots have plenty of drainage holes.
I usually water the moss pole, letting the water drain down into the pot rather than soaking the soil directly.
My plan is to leave them in this mix until its time to chop ans extend and then repot into a chunkier aroid mix.
Does it sound good enough? I am afraid the mix isnt chunky enough for them.
