Freakin’ squirrel made airplant salad

Our resident feral squirrel “donut” made a salad out of this airplant. This guy wasn’t cheap and i was irritated so I put him on a pile of air plants and ignored him for a year. Guilt set in. Found something to mount him on today. Looks like a nice new spike coming up from the center. Should i fertilize now? Any other hints for rehab? Damn squirrel…..He has lived in our courtyard for five years now. So much damage.
