Should I keep it or is it something invasive?

It looks like oleander to me. People plant them as ornamentals here in the US. All parts of the plant are quite poisonous, so if you have kids or pets that tend to gnaw on bushes and such I’d rip it out.

Looks like Oleander. There’s a ton of it around here.

Oleander, all parts of the plant are poisonous so if you have toddlers or unruly pets it can be dangerous.

I’m surprised to see it outdoors in the UK, I thought it couldn’t handle its winters. It’s common in the Mediterranean area, although not native there, and considered normal there, but again there people are aware it’s poisonous and dangerous.

Have it in Virginia USA. It doesn’t survive deep cold often. Just don’t eat it and I’ve never seen animals eating it before.

Definitely Oleander as everyone else has said. It’s not invasive as far as I’m aware (and I research this a lot), but it is extremely poisonous. However, so are a lot of other plants, so as long as you handle it with care, and don’t have curious kids/animals, you should be fine to keep it!

It’s one of my fave blooms. I wish I could have it outside here.

as other post mentioned, it is very toxic, be careful, leaves will kill and the symptoms are like a heart attack.

Oleander, my parents have some of these in their garden in Northern Norway. They are quite poisonous, so keep them away from small kids and pets.
