The first is from JOS Violets, the second is from u/stumblefive, and the third is from Woodland Blooms. They all have different colored flowers. I'm working on getting starts from more different sources. I really like this plant and the variations it has in its blooms.

I learned something new about AV trailers yesterday. There are two types. An upright type and the trailer type. The upright type has short internodes or short distances between successive leaves along the stem and are clumping or upright in growth habits. I believe that RS-Zimniy Tsvetok (Winter Flower) is this type. Then there is the typical trailer type which have long internodes and are more vining, with a sprawling growth habit. Learn more about them here ==> https://africanvioletsocietyofamerica.org/learn/violets-101/introduction-to-trailers/

Lovely! I’ve been so scared of ordering from anywhere other than Lyndon Lyon, but it’s nice to see some beautiful AVs from other sources. Love the Russian/Ukrainian hybrids.

    I’ll have to branch out!

Winter flower is so beautiful. I would love to get several leaves and start my own experiment!
