Picked this beauty up at the farmers market last weekend. Does she need to be repotted? This is my first flf and I want to keep her alive!

    I wouldn’t, but I would put her somewhere that gets more sun. Preferably a south window

    Also, FLF are dramatic. If you repot or move it, expect yellowing/falling leaves 😅

    Only re pot when the space is completely overcome with roots. I mean, 90% roots! Most tropical plants thrive when they’re root bound.

    FLF actually consume soil, which is unique. So you can top up the soil on the surface when you see roots exposed. But that doesn’t mean it’s root bound.

    That pot is okay..and this tropical plant needs sunlight so much..it’s better to place it by brighter window/spot

  5. That’s not going to live. It’ll start to dull and turn brown. They must be next to a window
