What type of echeveria is this and how can I safely propagate? Also, is the main stalk salvageable if I cut off some of the bald trunk?

I received this succulent in a bouquet and planted it. It flowered beautifully once and now started sprouting babies. Guidance is appreciated in getting these babies transplanted and identified.
