My fairly new jasmine plants in a planter box have strange pale patches on the leaves that don't seem to match the description of any ailment I can find online. I don't see any pests and used good potting soil. They get full sunlight for part of the day as recommended. They have had a bit of heat stress but not too much (I live in the PNW near Seattle and they get a decent amount of waterings).

What do you all think?

They’re not strange, they’re typical sunburn patches.

Sunburn. Unlike us, they don’t heal.

Did you read the “Full sun” recommendations on the plant tag that came with it? They can be suspicious, especially for a newly planted tender thing, to give it full sun will fry a jasmine especially if it was kept in part shade at the nursery, it’s too much change too suddenly.

I grow mine in part sun only.
