Have you tried the pink box of sure jell? It uses less sugar. I also used it for fig jam with no sugar and monk fruit. I actually like the no sugar better since the figs were so sweet.
Yummmmmy😊
My favorite pie is strawberry rhubarb 😋
Lovely garden day! I enjoy watching potato harvests. There is something fun about not being able to see what’s about to emerge. It feels like a fun surprise EVERY time I harvest potatoes! I wonder if you have ever made the Sure- Jel freezer jam version of raspberry jam? That is my oldest son’s favorite jam, seedless version.
I checked your weather for today and see flash flood warnings and rain in your area. Man, this has been the rainiest summer. Your plants are going to be sooooo happy.
Your content is amazingly positive, wholesome and uplifting. On those harder days, please know you are bringing us joy. Thank you! ❤
Laura with some batches of the peach jam that I make I throw some raspberries in and it's delicious plus the color is beautiful. I also make plum jam which we love almost as much as strawberry. I watch your videos daily. You always fill me with inspiration. Thanks for all you've given me.
Laura, you are a gift. 🙂 ❤
Curious: with a large property as yours, do you keep a tracking device on Benjamin and Samantha? I ask because you were looking for Samantha in the berry patch. Do they need to tell you and Aaron where they are heading to on the property or are they able to freely wander?
I appreciate the block of time with no music. Just hearing nature or what you're doing is so enjoyable and peaceful. I know not everyone likes silence, but I like it and appreciate the balance of blocks without music and blocks with it – to try and please the most people. Like a lot of others, this is my go-to video first thing in the morning with coffee. Even if it's posted early the night before, I make myself wait til morning.
Did you ever think (before having them )about someday these sweet babies out helping you with this? Perfect picture of you three out working in the garden together…❤
Bumbleberry jam
My favorite parts of your videos are the wandering around the property and seeing how things are doing. 🌱 💚
Omg the harvest❤❤❤❤❤
I saved this today 🤗, to relax before bed , today was always going to a tough day…but to just make that bit harder I realised we had a gas leak 😳. All sorted and knowing I was going to relax with you this evening got me through. So many thanks.
Take care xx xx xx
I really enjoyed the jam making at the end! Have you ever considered making ASMR videos? Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us, I have learned so much. Cheers!
My grandfather canned plums every year and they were delicious. You should try it one year to see if you like them.
A neighbor who had just been diagnosed with cancer asked me to make him some elderberry jelly. It was wonderful. Just a bit tart and great on a warm biscuit.
Black elderberry syrup is so tasty as a reduction sauce with steaks . Also great for immune system boosting!
Yes, I love your videos..love you and your sweet family.. what a beautiful harvest that the Lord God has given you guys. That's a little hard work and love got always blesses.❤
Elderberry has been used in folk medicine to treat colds and flu.
Enjoyed this video got to see a little of everything !the jam looked delicious!
Remind me, what kind of Nectarines were you eating? The new barn is elegant! It looks really good!!!
I noticed some boxwoods laid out in the front garden. Did I miss a video?
It really does pick up on camera! Gorgeous!
in reference to the bags on the apples, while i don't have apples (live in what was an old orchard, no point in growing my own when out my window is thousands of apple trees on the current farm lol) i do grow peaches now. weirdest thing, i put bags on the peaches at the right time and… squirrels ripped off every one. every. single. peach. they literally ate the bags and left the tiny green rock-like peaches alone. so this year i did nothing and sure most every peach has some bug damage on the surface, they all ripened perfectly and were so good.
also so wish i could grow grapes as multiple species are native to my area of new england but spotted lanternflies are spreading to adjacent towns and once they're in mine, i don't even wanna know how terrible that'll be
