   I think it’s a [Monotropa hypopitys](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monotropa_hypopitys) aka Dutchman’s pipe. Parasitic

   Edit: may be Monotropa uniflora

   The reddish tint and surrounding pine needles would suggest it’s [pinesap](https://www.inaturalist.org/taxa/59986-Monotropa-hypopitys), a relative of the ghost pipe others have mentioned.
