    Yes, to the obedient plant spreading. I referred to it as the disobedient plant. It's one of the ones that goes underground and then just pops up anywhere, even in the middle of a different perennial. You have room for a patch to do its thing but you'll have to cut the roots and remove them to contain it. (Just responding when you mentioned it. Someone else may already have said something.) I had one for a few years and then just removed the whole thing. It was another year or two before I got it all.

Your channel is so inspiring! I LOVE what you create, share, and live your life. Thank You! This year I committed to planting oranges, yellows, whites and purples. No pink! No reds!! It's surely a switch for me, and I find this color combo fun and bright. They make me happy! All that I am missing is a Paul in my life.

    Question: I live in a residential area where the houses are about 60 feet apart. I would like to plant in my backyard plants that will block the view between neighbors, don’t get me wrong I love my neighbors but would love more to go outside and not have to speak to people😅 I don’t mind the bees and butterflies and birds. The plants I choose cannot have big roots that will go into neighbors lawns I was thinking Butterflybushes,….Does that sound like a good idea? Can you suggest good privacy plants? I enjoy watching this video, gets me inspired.

    The best plant misnomer is Obedient plant. It sure as hell isn’t obedient. But I love it enough to keep a small patch maintained.

    You know what I was thinking that you should set an area aside that your dad can design to make it special remember him by even both mom & da or grandparents area with their favorites, because you have so many areas but none as special to them. 🥰🥰have a nice day! Let me know what you decide.

    I’m curious, did you dig down under that tree to see how deep the roots are where you say you’re going to remove dirt for the little patio area? It will be interesting to see how close to the tree trunk you put the wall.
    Paul is not only an incredibly hard working man but he’s an artist! Today mulch was his paint and a tractor and rake his brushes. Thank you Paul for making the world more beautiful.
