Chopped this guy down quite a bit as it was getting rather leggy and just to experiment. Curious as to whether I should expect branching off the cut stem when there is another stem already on the plant. Will that work or will it just put out energy into the second stem and leaves?

It’s kind of unpredictable. Technically a branch could come from any and all nodes (bumps above old leaf scars). Looking good tho! You might want to top that soil up as some of the roots are peekin’
