Sure, it’s kinda gross, but it’s highly effective. Put on some surgical/nitrile gloves and just… smoosh.
Then, wash off the plant. The higher the pressure the better as it will also help dislodge any survivors.

Edit: u/AustinTeddy3 is correct, mealy bugs. That’s what I was thinking but wrote aphids.
Treatment is correct, blast them with a sprayer. Insecticidal soap if you want to go overboard. Make sure you don’t bring any to your indoor houseplants.

Since these non natives are less resilient with shallower root systems, sometimes its best to just put down organic soil conditioner, seaweed and mulch that has hormones etc to mitigate this biotic stress at a core level rather than just treating the pest at hand. Pests are often a sign that the plant itself isnt happy.
