My FL is dying! Where do I go from here. I bought this at a Lowe’s on clearance.I’ve had it about 2 months and it’s dropping leaves like crazy. I repotted it 2 weeks after I got it but now I’ve removed all of the old and new soil and the roots are a mess. Do I trim these roots or just repot? 🤷🏾‍♀️

    I don’t think you should be leaving the roots completely exposed in air like that for too long. I’ve never done it myself but the paranoia in my gut tells me that’s practically a death sentence, epic leaf drop imminent. I hope it works out for ya!

    I’m 2 weeks post re-potting. Looks like my Flf is coming back to life. What I did
    -I sprayed the roots throughly with hydrogen peroxide, then rinsed off.
    -I used the tapla 5-1-1-1 method for my soil
    (Pine bark, perlite, peat moss and wood ash)
    – full sun. wiped the leafs and inspected for spider mites.

    Thank you guys so much for the great advice! I’ve repotted with the soul mixture you mentioned and now I need to know if I should go ahead and prune these leaves with brown spots or save that for another day because it’s too much too soon.
