Too much sun? My mint paled, shriveled, died, and came back with a week. Give it more water. It will come back. You can’t kill mint.

That looks like pretty clear thrips damage to me. Silvery leaves with black dots is classic thrips.

Looks to me like pest damage or sooty mold.

Thrips. Those black speckles on the lower leaves are their frass. They notoriously love members of the mint family, namely basil.

I found miracle grow soil to be v hydrophobic. Mint should survive an apocalypse. A cactus soil mixed in would help.

I was gonna say check the underside of leaves for spider mites, but those folks saying thrips seem to speak with more authority.

  7. My mint always always ends up looking like this near the end of the season.

It’s also been over 100 degrees for weeks so that is not helping.
