This is my watermelon pepperoni (watermelon peperomia) that I bought at a Kroger grocery store several months ago, because she was on clearance for $4. At the time it only had 5-6 half-broken leaves. I unfortunately didn't take a before picture, but it's made a crazy comeback and has been flowering all summer. It's grown to be one of my favorite houseplants 🙂

Love it when that happens! I got a withered aloe at Lowe’s that grew to be a 30 lb fatty.

Now I’m gonna be trolling my local Kroger!

Hey! My watermelon pepperoni was also a clearance save! I believe the HEB charged me $5 for mine. I eyeballed it when it was full price, but $25 (iirc) was too much for my impulse plant purchase budget. Mine hasn’t quite bounced back yet, and it was pretty beat up – hoping it will look as good as yours by next year!
