My Hoya Kerrii, about 10 years old. It grew a lot this past year, lately it was 1-2cm per day. It even produced flowers!

Could you try to guide it back down? I dont know much about Hoyas but when I see them at the garden stores the end part seems pretty malleable

You cut a hole in the ceiling obviously

My hoya that hangs in front of my window is growing upwards and it just follows the ceiling now. I’ll probably have to tame it if it starts heading for the ceiling fan, but I do think that once they get some leaves, it brings down their reach with the weight of those delightfully chunky leaves they have.

I love this pic though, of it *just touching* the ceiling. Takes me back to the “I’m not touching you” days of youth and siblings.

I would either guide it downwards/wind it around a stake but lower than it is or go ahead and prune it since the top is leafless and not getting light. Impressive plant!

Cut it in half. Stump it and reset it to thicken out.

I wrap mine in an oval back onto itself. It likes the humidity
