  1. Thanks enjoyed the video, I want to try those lemon cucumbers.
I had a lot of deer damage…. First year this has happened a big Doe and fawn. I have videos and pics of them. I put in late squash and cucumbers some are blooming now do Zi should still get a limited harvest . I have several beautiful okra plants, I put some protective wire around those.
I still have large tomato plants almost every bloom gets eaten by the deer. Loofa is doing great, it’s on a cattle panel trellis.
My shrubs are doing good I put in sea green Junipers (keeping them watered) double pink Althea hibiscus were a little droopy but I think they will do fine
The four butterfly bushes are doing ok, not sure how long the blooms keep or do they continue?
My Prize is the Cherry Marquis Crepe Myrtle WOW! WHAT A STUNNING PLANT!
I ordered 20 black Diamond red Crepe Myrtle seed , they came yesterday (instructions say they man tss as me as long as three months to germinate , a challenge, which means they have to stay moist , instructions state they could germinate in as few as ten days.
One Crepe Myrtle 19.99 (purchased at Kroger’s)or 20 seeds from seed topic for a total of 15.?? Big differences.
Have a great week and weekend Kaye 💜💜

  2. So much abundance! I will plant my chayote today and see if there's still time to get something 🙃… I love ❤️ 😍 your harvest table!!

  3. Are those round cucumbers only for fresh eating? I’ve never tried those. If you can’t pickle them, then I would just grow a couple vines. This time,of year the cucumber vines always look like that

  4. Oh my that's sad, when I'm gone nothing gets watered of mine. Just pure laziness on some people I lost my birdhouse squash to some kind of rust disease first time I've actually gotten more than one and I lost four which isn't many but it would have been nice. I did try baking soda in water and also copper fungicide which I really didn't want to go to that. But I think all the rain didn't help hope you have a better turnout with your other crops❤

  5. Yes. I support the idea of picking up the overripe cucumbers and gifting them to the neighbor for the chickens. Also, why not make pickles and Kimchi from them too?

  6. Over head sprinklers, the ones that attach to a hose , you can see them on big field's , they go back and forth, I could have sworn you use to do hand held hose or soaker hoses, love is the key always 💞

  7. hi kaye, thanks for sharing. that pear looks delicious. your garden done really good this year. hope you have a great day!!!
